We are extremely happy to announce that our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is awarded for its unique quality in one of the most important olive oil tasting competitions in the world, the Berlin International Olive Oil Awards (Berlin GOOA), winning a Gold Award.
This international competition, with high quality testing and evaluation standards, took place in Berlin, Germany, from 12 to 18 April 2021. It had more than 700 olive oil entries from 22 olive oil-producing countries, such as Greece, Spain, Italy, France, Israel, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey, Croatia, etc.
The process of blind tasting was strictly followed, rewarding the efforts based not only on the quality but also on the taste,, the characteristics, the ethics and the design.
The panel of judges of Berlin GOOA 2021, consisted of scientists with know-how but also pioneering specialized olive oil tasters, setting the standards for a reliable and innovative international olive oil competition.
This Gold Award recognizes the quality of our extremely pure olive oil and highlights once again the dynamics of the Greek land.
From the moment we started, our oil was warmly embraced by people who have set it as one of the cornerstones of their daily diet. We believe that flavor comes from the story behind the products and that’s exactly what “Mia elia” project is about.
We hope to convey to the whole world what our dad brought to us with so much love throughout the years. We wish to create a large community of olive oil lovers and create bonds as deep as the roots of our trees, between our family, you and nature.
