Mia Elia for the Bronze at the London International Olive Oil Competitions

Mia Elia for the Bronze at LondonIOOC 2020

We are thrilled to announce that Mia Elia got the Bronze Award in Quality category, at one of the most important international olive oil quality competitions: the LondonIOOC 2020. It’s a competition dedicated to reinforcing the knowledge about the varieties, the tasting differences and the nutritional aspects of olive oil, among international consumers and catering professionals.

The event, which has become a benchmark for extra virgin olive oil companies in Europe, took place in London (18-21 June 2020) with more than 650 entries from 25 olive oil-producing countries, including Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, U.S.A and more. The competition holds really high standards for quality and all expert panel tasters judge through blind tasting. Being awarded from a credible, transparent and trustworthy global olive oil competition, for the quality of our olive oil, is an important recognition of our product, our standards and our production process.

Olive oil making in Lesvos started in the Bronze Age and by getting this first Bronze Quality Award, we like to think of it as a sign: this is just the beginning for bigger things to come.  At this point, we would like to renew our promise for delivering the best quality extra virgin olive oil, from our groves to your table. This award was complimentary to your priceless support towards our mission. By adopting our olive trees, you keep our dream and our tradition alive.
