Mayonnaise Mia Elia

Mayo

A quick and easy homemade mayonnaise recipe, using fresh ingredients and extra
virgin olive oil.

Making your own mayonnaise is easy, and it gives you greater control over the
quality of ingredients.

This recipe requires 220gr of your favorite Mia Elia Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Keep your homemade mayo refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

Ingredients

  1. 2 egg yolk
  2. 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  3. 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  4. 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  5. 1⁄4 teaspoon salt and sugar
  6. 220gr Mia Elia Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions

Place egg yolks, lemon juice, vinegar, mustard, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
Blend until combined (for about 30 seconds).

Pour Mia Elia Extra Virgin Olive Oil into the bowl in a very thin
(and slow-moving) stream. Continue to blend until it has thickened.

If your mayonnaise is too thick, add a little water to thin it out.
